Terms and Conditions

1. Service Description

VERONIKITES Kite School offers kitesurfing classes for all levels in Salinas del Rey, Bolívar, Colombia. Our services include Discovery, Kite Control, and Waterstart courses, taught by instructors certified by the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO). All necessary equipment is included in every class.

2. Student Requirements

To participate in our classes, students must:

• Be at least 12 years old (minors must have legal guardian authorization)
• Be a confident swimmer in open water
• Have no medical conditions that prevent participation in water sports

3. Bookings and Payments

Bookings are made through our online form or via WhatsApp. The booking is confirmed once our team contacts you to validate availability and coordinate details. Published prices are subject to change without notice. Payment is made directly with the academy through available payment methods.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will not incur any penalty.
• Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a 50% charge of the class value.
• In case of weather conditions unsuitable for practice (insufficient or excessive wind), the class will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
• The decision regarding weather conditions is at the sole discretion of VERONIKITES instructors.

5. Safety and Student Responsibility

Kitesurfing is a risk sport. Students agree to follow all safety instructions provided by IKO-certified instructors. Students are responsible for reporting any relevant medical conditions before the start of class. The use of safety equipment (helmet, life vest) is mandatory during all sessions.

6. Limitation of Liability

VERONIKITES Kite School shall not be liable for injuries, damages, or losses that occur as a result of participation in classes, provided that established safety protocols have been followed. Students participate at their own risk and assume the inherent risks of the sport. Travel and adventure sports insurance is recommended.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the VERONIKITES website, including text, images, logos, videos, and design, is protected by intellectual property rights. Reproduction, distribution, or use without express written authorization is prohibited.

8. Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes shall be resolved before the competent courts of Colombia, in accordance with Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute) and other applicable regulations.
